The municipalities of Kalamansig, Lebak, and Senator Ninoy Aquino, all of Sultan Kudarat province, celebrated their one of a kind Coco Day festivities last September 17, 2019, September 18, 2019, and October 3, 2019, respectively – in support to the 33rd National Coco Week Celebration of Philippine Coconut Authority with the theme “Niyog Arugain, Produkto Tangkilikin.”

The Coco Day celebrations were participated by Local Government Units (LGUs), PCA-Sultan Kudarat employees, tourists, and coconut farmers, who enjoyed the different coconut product/by-products exhibit, contests, games and farm tools raffle. The celebration aims to inspire the coconut farmers and other stakeholders, to continue supporting the coconut industry. Further, participants were encouraged to explore value-added coconut products, and to engage in diversification of coconut farms.
