In line with the PCA’s efforts to revitalize the coconut industry in Batangas, three (3) coconut planting sites were visited by the PCA Batangas-Cavite team on October 1, 2020.
One of the sites is located in Palico, Nasugbu which is a land owned by the Wounded Soldiers Cooperative. It was planted with 100 dwarf coconuts and another 100 of the tall variety.

Another site is in Reparo, Nasugbu wherein Bea Roxas of Kanya Kayawan Inc. willingly offered around 10-40 hectares of land as potential coconut seed garden site which could eventually become an additional source of high-yielding coconut varieties in the future.
