Quezon --- The Philippine Coconut Authority (PCA) led the distribution of the Cash and Food Subsidy for Marginal Farmers and Fisherfolk (CFSMFF) in Quezon Province, which started on December 2020, and is ongoing.


Distribution of CFSMFF to 760 coconut farmers in the Municipalities of Padre Burgos, Agdangan. Unisan, Macalelon, General Luna, Catanauan, Mulanay, San Narciso, San Francisco, San Andres and Buenavista held from Dec. 19-22, 2020.

Distribution of CFSMFF to 649 coconut farmers in the Municipalities of Atimonan, Plaridel, Gumaca, Lopez, Calauag, Guinyangan at Tagkawayan on December 28, 2020.

Distribution of CFSMFF to 194 coconut farmers in the Municipalities of Tiaong, Dolores, Sampaloc and Mauban on January 8, 2021.
Each farmer-beneficiary received ₱3,000.00 cash assistance and food assistance worth ₱2,000 which consists of a 25-kilogram sack of rice, dressed chicken, and eggs.
For the cash and food assistance, each farmer-beneficiary was provided with a unique reference code and an E-voucher with QR code which enable them to encash through an accredited pay-out center and supplier of food, where they had to present a proof of their identity for validation purposes upon claiming.
The CFSMFF program aims to provide secure and direct cash and food assistance to eligible smallholder farmers and fisherfolk affected by the COVID-19 pandemic. ### (PCA IV)
