The PCA Program Management Office (PMO), being the Secretariat for the National CFIDP Inter-Agency Technical Committee (NIATC), organized a series of sub-committee and committee meetings in line with the implementation of projects under the Republic Act 11524 or the Coconut Farmers and Industry Trust Fund Act.

The second Regional Inter-Agency Technical Committee (RIATC) Meeting was hosted by DPWH Region VII headed by Regional Director, Ernesto S. Gregorio, Jr.

The conduct of the activity aims to get updates/progress on the implementation of programs/projects under CFIDP for January - February 2023 and to discuss/address issues and concerns on the implementation of programs for the first two (2) months of the year.

In attendance were representatives from PCA-PMO, PCA 7, PhilMech, DPWH, NDA, DA- HVCDP, DA-BAI, DBP, PCIC, CDA, DTI, ATI, DBP, TESDA, and DOST-PCCAARD.

We also invited some Local Government Units (LGUs) in southern Cebu to listen to what they have in mind about the implementation of the CFIDP Projects in their respective municipalities. Representatives from LGU Argao, Dalaguete, and Barili were present yesterday.

The following were tackled during the meeting: 
1. Actions taken on the agreements made during the first RIATC Meeting;
2. Latest Updates from Implementing Agencies for 2023 Targets and Budget, if any;
3. Updates from the PMO and discussions on the monitoring and evaluation component of the CFIDP;
4. Sharing of issues and concerns encountered; and
5. Agreements and ways forward.
