
Driven by its mandate to champion the palm oil industry, the Philippine Coconut Authority participated at the 13th National Palm Oil Congress in Davao City on August 14-15, 2024.

In a landmark event aimed at bolstering coconut industry sustainability and development, Calaca City, Batangas, and Philippine Coconut Authority hosted a tree planting activity and the signing of a Memorandum of Agreement on August 7, 2024.

To bolster the coconut industry, the Philippine Coconut Authority (PCA) is advancing its ‘𝑡𝑤𝑖𝑛’ 𝑝𝑟𝑜𝑗𝑒𝑐𝑡 focused on the planting, replanting, and fertilization of coconut trees. Spearheaded by PCA Administrator, Dr. Dexter R. Buted, the initiative aims to rejuvenate the industry by enhancing coconut productivity. The project recently took a significant step forward as PCA officials met with key stakeholders to discuss the crucial Coconut Fertilization Project (CFP).

In a determined effort to bolster farmers’ cooperatives, the Philippine Coconut Authority convened with representatives from the Cooperative Development Authority (CDA), Land Bank of the Philippines (LBP), and Development Bank of the Philippines (DBP) on July 16, 2024.
