PCA CALABARZON distributed a total of ₱1.13M monetary incentives to 118 coconut farmers from Region IV-A on December 23, 2019, who participated in PCPP implementation in 2018.

With the theme "Establishing Community Enterprises Towards a Sustainable Coconut Industry", the 3rd National Coconut Farmers Conference was held on February 26 (Wednesday) at the Conference Hall of the National Irrigation Administration, NIA Road, EDSA in Quezon City. The conference was organized by the Office of the Presidential Assistant for Food Security and Agricultural Modernization (OPAFSAM), Philippine Coconut Authority (PCA) and the Coconut Industry Reform Movement, Inc. (COIR).

The Philippine Coconut Authority (PCA) held the National Coconut Research, Development and Extension Summit 2019 on December 11-12, 2019 at Serrano Hall, Agricultural Training Institute (ATI) in Diliman, Quezon City.

Balunu Carreon Farmers Association in Salaan, Zamboanga City is one of the PCA-IX KEDP sites that passed the eligibility requirements for the Agricultural Competitiveness Enhancement Fund (ACEF)of the Landbank of the Philippines (LBP), which provides financial support for the members of the association who planted cacao seedlings from PCA’s Coconut Intercropping Project (CIP).
