LUCENA CITY --- In order to address the challenges the lambanog industry is currently facing, the Philippine Coconut Authority Region IV conducted the 2nd Regional Consultative Forum on Lambanog Industry at APA Farm, Majayjay, Laguna on October 2.


In line with the PCA’s efforts to revitalize the coconut industry in Batangas, three (3) coconut planting sites were visited by the PCA Batangas-Cavite team on October 1, 2020.
One of the sites is located in Palico, Nasugbu which is a land owned by the Wounded Soldiers Cooperative. It was planted with 100 dwarf coconuts and another 100 of the tall variety.

PCA PRESS RELEASE TCoconut farmer groups from different parts of the country expressed their opposition against allowing the export of matured coconuts as it would result to the depletion of raw materials, processed and value-added coco products, loss of jobs, and closing of small to medium businesses.
