DILIMAN, Quezon City – To ensure the effective implementation of the Coconut Farmers and Industry Trust Fund (CFITF) Act or R.A. No. 11524, the Philippine Coconut Authority (PCA), through its Program Management Office (PMO), has begun its validation and monitoring activities for the various programs and projects stipulated in the Coconut Farmers and Industry Development Plan (CFIDP).

The meeting was held via hybrid mode- at the Department of Agriculture (DA) Compound for in-person attendees, and through the zoom platform for virtual participants.

DILIMAN, QUEZON CITY – The Philippine Coconut Authority (PCA) joined the “Training on Regulatory Impact Assessment (RIA) for Department of Agriculture Food Safety Regulatory Agencies (DA-FSRAs)” organized by Winrock International thru the Building Safe Agricultural Food Enterprises (B-SAFE) Project, which aims to capacitate the DA-FSRAs on the Regulatory Impact Assessment (RIA).

Cruz, together with the Deputy Administrator for Operations Branch, DA Roel Rosales, and concerned officers and staff of the Authority, met with the members of the Foreign Agriculture Service Corps (FASC) of the Department of Agriculture (DA) in a roundtable consultation meeting last 06 March 2023 to discuss the current status and market opportunities of the Philippine coconut industry in the international market.
