Talungon Coconut Sugarcane Farmers Association of Barangay San Jose, Sta. Catalina is a recipient of Philippine Coconut Authority - KEDP under Coconut Intercropping/Livestock Integration Project (CIP - Coffee CY 2018/CLP – Cattle CY 2019) and Coconut Cacao Enterprise Development Project (CCEDP) CY 2015.

The Bacong Small Coconut Farmers Multi-Purpose Cooperative (BASCOFADCO), organized and assisted by Philippine Coconut Authority Negros Oriental Provincial Office, has recently concluded its 20th year Annual Regular General Assembly Meeting (ARGAM) last February 19, 2023 held at Bacong Municipal Auditorium with the theme “Cooperatives: The Power to Act for a Sustainable Future.”

The PCA Program Management Office (PMO), being the Secretariat for the National CFIDP Inter-Agency Technical Committee (NIATC), organized a series of sub-committee and committee meetings in line with the implementation of projects under the Republic Act 11524 or the Coconut Farmers and Industry Trust Fund Act.
