2,400 Catigan and baybay tall variety seedlings delivered in Northern Mindanao
PCA Region X delivered 1,200 catigan coconut seedlings to a 30-hectare seed farm located in Brgy. Gala, Ozamiz City, under the region’s Seed Farm Development Project (SFDP). This is the second batch of delivery in addition to the first batch of 500 seedlings delivered earlier in June.

PCA, fully compliant with enhanced FOI requirements
PCA Quezon City, Philippines - The PCA has successfully complied with the enhanced Freedom of Information (FOI) requirements after a validation process done by Presidential Communications Operations Office (PCCO). The compliance to the FOI requirements is one of the criteria for the grant of Performance Based- Bonus (PBB) for Fiscal Year(FY) 2019. PBB is an incentive given to government employees in accordance to their performance and contribution to the accomplishment of their agency’s overall targets and commitments. This is part of the government’s effort to improve transparency and efficiency of government agencies.

14,300 coconut hybrid seedlings distributed to Mabuhay Indigenous Peoples Waterworks and Farmers Association
General Santos City --- The ceremonial distribution of coconut seedlings to Mabuhay Indigenous Peoples Waterworks and Farmers Association was done on September 19 in Purok 7, Nopol, Brgy. Mabuhay, General Santos City during the 2nd FYE LAWIL Festival cum Farmers’ Assembly with theme, “Empowering the Indigenous Peoples thru Agri-Cultural Development Program.”

PCA Misamis Occidental conducts first industry stakeholders’ forum
Plaridel, Misamis Occidental --- In response to PCA Administrator Benjamin Madrigal’s directive to all regional managers and provincial office heads of office on June 5, 2020 to create their respective coconut industry stakeholders group and fora, PCA-Misamis Occidental conducted its first physical stakeholders’ forum at PAGLAUM MPC Training Center, Malanoy, Plaridel, Misamis Occidental on September 16, 2020.
