San Francisco, Agusan del Sur --- The Philippine Coconut Authority-CARAGA (PCA-CARAGA) headed by Regional Manager Joel Oclarit, led the ceremonial planting of PCA-produced hybrid variety Catigan dwarf crossed with Baybay tall on a 15-hectare coconut hybrid demo farm located in Ormaca, San Francisco, Agusan del Sur on September 9, 2020.

Surigao del Sur --- A total of 175 farmers from three municipalities in Surigao del Sur received financial aid amounting to a total of ₱764,600 from the Philippine Coconut Authority-CARAGA (PCA-CARAGA) on August 24 and on September 3, 2020.

The Philippine Coconut Authority – XIV BARMM (PCA XIV-BARMM), led by PCA Regional Manager Marina B. Wahab, inaugurated the Bangsamoro Coconut Hub in Sitio Cawa, Bugawas, Datu Odin Sinsuat, Maguindanao on August 6, 2020, to mark the beginning of its operations.

PCA –The Philippine Coconut Authority (PCA), in accordance with Proclamation No 142 series of 1987, launched this year’s month-long celebration of the 34th National Coconut Week this morning in simple ceremonies at the PCA Auditorium in its Main office in Elliptical Road, Quezon City. PCA Administrator Benjamin Madrigal Jr said this year’s celebration with the theme “Masaganang Niyugan Tungo sa Kaginhawaan” aims to “heighten people’s awareness and appreciation for our industry’s promising contribution to our country’s economy and our people’s wellbeing”.
