PALO, Leyte --- The Philippine Coconut Authority (PCA) Region VIII, in partnership with the Philippine Fiber Industry Development Authority (PhilFIDA) and local government units (LGUs), has launched the abaca-coconut intercropping project in the region.

MANILA ---- The House of Representatives (HOR) on Monday, December 14, approved on third and final reading the bill seeking the creation of a trust fund for the coconut farmers.

MANILA – With the positive results of the clinical study of the Department of Science and Technology (DOST) where virgin coconut oil (VCO) was found to be an adjunct supplement that helps prevent the symptoms of COVID-19 from becoming severe, the Philippine Coconut Authority (PCA) is hopeful to see increased VCO production and domestic consumption.

PINABACDAO, Samar --- The Philippine Coconut Authority (PCA) distributed a total of ₱1,029,120.00 worth of incentives to 374 coconut farmer-beneficiaries from Pinabacdao, Samar, under the Planting/Replanting Project of the Yolanda Recovery and Rehabilitation Program (YRRP) on November 18, 2020.
